Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 April 2026

PUCK ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-powered adaptability assessments for recruitment. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you complete an assessment through our platform.

Data we collect

  • Personal information — name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL
  • Application materials — CV/resume and cover letter, if provided
  • Assessment responses — your answers to all assessment questions
  • Behavioural metadata — response timing and keystroke patterns, collected for quality assurance and response authenticity verification
  • Audio recordings — if you use voice input, your spoken responses are recorded and transcribed

How we use your data

  • Generate your adaptability assessment scores and candidate profile
  • Match candidates to open roles based on assessment results
  • Analyse keystroke and timing patterns to verify response authenticity and quality
  • Improve our assessment algorithms and scoring models

Who sees your data

Your assessment results and profile are shared with:

  • The hiring team at the recruiting organisation that invited you to take the assessment
  • PUCK platform administrators for operational support and quality assurance

We do not sell your data to third parties.

AI processing

Your assessment responses are scored using AI (powered by OpenAI). The AI generates structured scores across adaptability dimensions. No human reads your individual responses during the scoring process — the hiring team views only the generated assessment reports and summary profiles.

Data retention

Your personal data and assessment results are retained for 12 months from the date of your assessment. After this period, data is either anonymised for research purposes or deleted. You may request deletion at any time (see your rights below).

Your rights

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
  • Withdraw consent — you may withdraw your consent at any time; however, assessment results may be retained in anonymised form
  • Data portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

Cookies

We use session cookies only, which are necessary for the assessment to function correctly. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party advertising cookies.

Third-party services

  • OpenAI — processes assessment responses for AI scoring
  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication

Your data is never sold to third parties.
